Audi_Mechanic. 1490 posts · Joined 2012. #7 · Nov 7, 2015. You could have a problem with the engine oil/coolant heat exchanger, DGS oil/coolant heat exchanger, or head gasket. Since you don't seem to have coolant in the engine oil then your head gasket may be okay. Check dsg oil for coolant.
I just spent $502.95 at a trusted TDI shopFix Um Haus in Portland ORfor the complete 40K service which includes the DSG service, lube, engine oil, filters etc. IIRC the DSG part of the service billed at just under $200. If a dealer wants $400 just for the DSG service alone I hope they offer some foreplay to go along with it.
Replace the T30 screw on the coolant line. To get the final oil reading start the car and let it run so you can build up pressure in the system and see if you’ve added enough. Clean the dipstick, place it back in, and check the level. Place the engine cover back on. On a TDI the oil change will last you 10,000 miles.

DSG oil change is due at 40k miles. I had mine done last week although a bit early (I’m on 33k) than the service schedule. So unless you have any issues it should be fine to do at 40k and sounds like it’s been looked after by a reputable place.

Jun 17, 2010. #1. Just did DSG oil change earlier. You can fill from the top via the oil filter housing in 15 minutes if the oil is warm enough. Just buy the 4-5 dollar funnel with the hose at walmart, it has the perfect size tip that fits perfectly. I'm not the first to do this, so don't let anyone tell you that the filling from the bottom is wholly cow!! that should include the DSG changemy invoice for the 40K DSG service was $150 for labor and $145 for parts, then i just asked for Brake fluid system flush and change, tire rotation and oil change. Came out to a total of about $500.
