9. Kawasaki Vulcan S. In many aspects, this bike looks like a cruiser but it also has a few hints that suggest it's more of a throwback to a sports bike as well. As a matter of fact, that's one of the biggest reasons why so many people love riding it.
Honda believes in this bike, too, as it has followed up the original Rebel 500 with a couple of additional sizes: the 300 (with a 286cc engine) and, more recently, the 1100 (with a 1084cc engine). The latter model caught my attention because suddenly, it seemed like a bike you could take far beyond the city limits. Since the 300 is the smaller bike, it’s less expensive. It has an MSRP of $4,749 versus $6,499 for the 500. In fact, the 300 is Honda’s least expensive cruiser. Of course, you get more power and speed with the 500. Overall, both prices are proportional to what you’re getting and, therefore, a good value.

The Honda Rebel 500, also known as the Honda CMX500 or Honda CMX500 Rebel, was a motorcycle manufactured by the Japanese company, which first saw the light of day at its debut in 2016 in Long

The Rebel also brings a steeper rake of 28 degrees, a tighter trail of 110mm, and a more compact wheelbase of 56.8 inches, in a lighter package, so it’s easier to push around. The Sportster is longer between the hoops (59.6 inches) and has more rake (30 degrees) and trail (117mm), for a lazier feel. Advantage: Honda.

Here are my Top 5 low-cost cruiser motorcycles for beginners: Honda Rebel 300 – $4600. Yamaha V Star 250 – $4499. Suzuki Boulevard S40 – $5799. Honda Rebel 500 – $6299. Kawasaki Vulcan S – $7199. In my opinion, motorcycles for beginners need to fit within a certain feature range: They need to be easy bikes to learn to ride on. Basically I have found a very cheap 2021 honda rebel 500 in awesome condition. I am going to attend the training course at the beginning of may, but was hoping you all could tell me if the bike would be a good starting bike for me. Since the bike itself is a state away, me and a couple friends are taking a short road trip next week to look at The next model year of the Honda Rebels has upgrades that make the clutch lighter. If you really want the 500, wait and get one of those. If you really want a good used started bike with a vintage style, check out the Moto Guzzi V7s. Lots available for around 5k and they're pretty good commuters, plenty of room to strap on luggage Everything on this bike feels a bit “affordable” but it is Honda affordable, which means “pretty good.” The 2017 Rebel carries on the torch for newer riders and looks great doing it. Considering the intended riding style for this bike and its reasonable price, great styling, quality parts and materials, the Rebel 500 is solid choice for The rebel is smaller/lighter which would change the handling characteristics. Also to mention the rebel has newer tech over the dated shadow. I have a kawi 650 and I do like the parallel twin motors. The rebel is a parallel twin versus the shadows v twin. Parallel twins are super smooth and relatively quieter.
So I'm thinking a Yamaha Bolt or a Honda Rebel 500 might be good options. I'm attracted to the bobber style, and the reliability. I maintain my own bikes, but don't want to have to worry about them starting up. I also would like to modify the bike - shorten the rear fender, clean up any taillight/turn signals, exhaust, intake, the usual things.
Best Cruiser: First introduced in the mid-1980s, the Honda Rebel has long been a go-to option for new riders, though in recent years as the entry-level segment has spiked in popularity, Big Red was prompted to unveil a new generation of Rebel with the 300 and 500cc (and 1,078cc) versions. Honda’s Rebel 500 is a seriously good bike. I’m not going to get all breathless and spout adjectives like stellar or fantastic the way people seem to feel they need to these days, characterizing everything with ever-increasing levels of over-inflated awesomeness, and anyway, the Rebel ain’t about such nonsense.
The Honda Rebel 1100 top speed is 140 mph. bumps the price up to $10,349 which leaves Honda looking pretty good at checkout. of my old Rebel 450, and while the Rebel 300/500 was kind
