Launched in Munich on 19 September 2019, Huawei announced the Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro alongside a new Watch GT 2. Since that announcement it’s all been very quiet on the availability front, and only now – some five months later – is Huawei gearing up to actually sell the Mate 30 Pro in the UK. (Still no word on the standard Mate 30.)
Here we compared two flagship smartphones: the 6.1-inch Huawei P30 (with HiSilicon Kirin 980) that was released on March 26, 2019, against the Huawei Mate 30 Pro, which is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 990 and came out 6 months after. On this page, you will find tests, full specs, strengths, and weaknesses of each of the devices.
The Mate 30 Pro’s front camera uses a 32Mp sensor that is coupled with a 26mm-equivalent, f/2.0-aperture fixed-focus lens. Thus far the front camera specs are very similar to those of the P30 Pro, which was launched in February 2019.
Fast speed, low latency, long usage time and strong image processing capabilities can all be experienced in the HUAWEI Mate 30 Pro. 【40MP Cine Camera, 8MP Telephoto Camera】Fall in love with smartphone filming since it allows you to record Ultra Low-light, Ultra-slow Motion and Ultra Wide Angle Time-lapse videos.
